I used purchased and self-machined parts to create a high-powered electric skateboard. The board has a vacuum formed electronics housing with baffled vents that allow air flow while preventing water flow — in case puddles are encountered. When the batteries are wired in series, the board can reach a top speed of 18 MPH.
